The Abbey Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul, Bath, commonly known as Bath Abbey, is an Anglican parish church and a former Benedictine monastery in Bath, Somerset, England. Pilgrims and visitors have been made welcome at Bath Abbey for hundreds of years. As one of the most visited places in the South West, we welcome over 420,000 people through our doors each year.
Although I have lived in Bath all my life this last week was my first trip inside the abbey and up the 212 stairs to its heights clock and great views of the city of Bath. On the same day I captured an interesting array of street photography form the locals and visitors to this fantastic and dynamic city.
